Since 2020, the Kuznets Lobov House of Mercy has become a pillar for families caring for seriously ill adults who need help at home.
Among them is Dmitry Pavlovich, a 69–year-old ward of the Care at Home patronage service. His life is overshadowed by oral cancer, which requires not only intensive treatment, but also round-the-clock care, as well as regular trips to the cancer hospital for examinations. Unfortunately, he is no longer able to drive a car on his own.
Lobov's house has a small fleet consisting of two Niva SUVs and an intensive care vehicle designed to transport bedridden patients. Patronage vehicles deliver specialists to wards who are close to relatives, and also carry out transportation to medical institutions – this is one of the most sought-after services. It is burdensome for the budget to order a taxi or an intensive care vehicle from commercial organizations. However, the Lobov House provides these services completely free of charge. Every month, patronage vehicles make more than 80 visits to both homes and medical facilities.
