Arina is 7 years old, she has severe general speech underdevelopment, organic non-psychotic disorder, mental retardation, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. By the age of 2, the baby had lost her speech, she stopped contacting others, and people were afraid.
Throughout the intensive course, work was carried out on the skill of requests. Arina continues to learn how to use the PECS alternative communication system to get what she wants, and new stages have been introduced. The token system helped to establish cooperation, the girl's behavior returned to normal during the tasks. Arina has learned to calmly part with a motivational subject and switch from one action to another. She managed to perform simple motor movements on her own.
Classes with a defectologist and a specialist in sensory integration were held in a playful way, the teachers were engaged in filling the deficit of the muscular and tactile systems. Elements of aromatherapy, art therapy and plastinography were used. Arina's large and small motor skills have improved, as well as visual coordination, knowledge and perception of colors.
Thanks to classes with an adaptive sports coach, Arina has significantly improved her physical skills. She learned how to follow instructions with an object - a hoop, a ball, cones, a skipping rope, began to confidently climb stairs, jump over barriers, throw balls at a target, overcome an obstacle course and even somersault with the support of a coach.
