Throughout the intensive course, work continued on using the PECS alternative communication system. Aisha learned how to lay out the phrase "I want ..." from the cards and pronounce the most motivational encouragement. The girl began to examine the sets of cards more closely, compare them in shape and color, and find associative connections.
Aisha also has noticeably improved her gaming skills, she began to use objects with a causal relationship in the game, and also became more relaxed about social games - she learned to wait her turn and calmly transfer an object to another person. Aisha has also mastered the "listener behavior" skill well, now she can choose the right subject from several at the request of the teacher, visual contact and response to the name have been strengthened.
With a specialist in sensory integration, Aisha performed a series of exercises to improve her body's feeling, work with the proprioceptive system, and eye-hand communication. As a result of the lessons, the girl began to have better control of her body and keep her balance. The girl also mastered a set of jumping exercises, flipping, bending, crawling and climbing on the gym wall.
