Maryam started holding her head and turning over late, she took her first steps at the age of 2. After the examination, several diagnoses were made – a disorder of psychological and speech development, general speech underdevelopment of level 1 with a pronounced mixed disorder of behavior and emotions.
Thanks to the completed course, Maryam mastered the PECS alternative communication system. The girl became better at comparing identical and non-identical objects and images, shapes and colors, and distinguishing between motivational stimuli. Work has been done to improve listener behavior, and Maryam has learned to "sit beautifully." We also worked on the correct pronunciation of sounds and the clear pronunciation of words.
In adaptive physical education classes, Maryam worked out on a treadmill, performed exercises on various simulators, and became much more resilient and patient. With a sensory integration specialist, the girl rode on a swing, playing ladushki and throwing a ball, and walked through an obstacle course on her own. All the lessons she completed contributed to improving Maryam's interaction with the outside world.
