Sarah has delayed speech development and an autism spectrum disorder. After two years, the girl had a developmental setback, she stopped looking into her eyes and responding to her name.
The behavioral analyst was actively working on clearer pronunciation of syllables, as Sarah began to pronounce the words, but the girl spoke them softly and indistinctly. After completing intensive classes, Sarah began to speak more confidently and louder, which will further help in the formation of speech skills and phrasal speech. Also, thanks to the lessons, the girl's vocabulary has significantly expanded, she has learned the names of colors, shapes, and objects in different categories.
With a sensory integration specialist and an adaptive physical education coach, Sarah continued to actively develop her sensorimotor and physical skills. The girl confidently jumps without the support of a teacher and jumps over barriers, passes an obstacle course, performs several instructions at the same time (for example, shifts cones while standing on a balance beam or swinging on a special swing hammock).
