Gadzhimagomed is 8 years old. At the age of 2, he faced a major developmental setback that changed his world. The boy forgot everything he knew, stopped responding to the addressed speech and lost touch with others.
During ABA therapy classes, the child learned to ask for missing items without prompting. We also worked on the implementation of two-component instructions, for example, show how to clap and knock. Gadzhimagomed showed great interest in classes, especially while learning board games. There is a positive trend in the development of graphomotor skills, now the child can trace simple, zigzag lines, numbers and letters, and color coloring pages.
The main goal of the speech therapist and speech pathologist was to develop the grammatical structure of speech. During his rehabilitation, Gadzhimagomed learned to correctly coordinate nouns with verbs, possessive pronouns, and adjectives. They also engaged in word formation: they learned how to form possessive and relative pronouns.
The sensory integration specialist focused on improving the functioning of the child's vestibular system, including exercises with different body positions. With the help of an adaptive physical education coach, Gadzhimagomed learned how to perform long jumps and jump on hemispheres on his own. Now he works out confidently and calmly on the treadmill, easily passes the obstacle course.
Thanks to your help, Gadzhimagomed has successfully completed a rehabilitation course! Thanks for the support!
