The funds collected thanks to you have been directed to help another beneficiary of the foundation — Eseniya. The girl has the same diagnosis as Aliya — epidermolysis bullosa. With this condition, the skin is so fragile that even a simple touch can cause painful wounds.

With your donations, special bandaging and care supplies were purchased and delivered to Eseniya. These are essential for her daily gentle care: they help protect damaged areas of skin, support wound healing, and reduce the risk of new injuries.

About the campaign

Aliya has a genetic disorder. She needs atraumatic bandages to grow and develop.

Aliya is the fifth long—awaited child in the family. The pregnancy proceeded without complications, all tests were normal, but after birth, the girl was diagnosed with epidermolysis bullosa, a rare genetic skin disease.

Due to the vulnerability of the skin, such patients are called "butterflies": any touch or rubbing can cause blisters and erosions. Aliya is only 2 months old, and she needs daily bandages. Ordinary bandages cannot be used — they provoke inflammation. Special anti-traumatic bandages, bandages, pads, creams and balms are needed. The cost of these expensive funds is very high and increases as the child grows up.

The Butterfly Children Foundation opens a collection for the purchase of bandages and care products for Aliya. The sooner patients with epidermolysis bullosa receive the right treatment, the higher the chances of a full life without complications.
