Dear friends, The Lobov Blacksmith's House of Mercy has been helping terminally ill people and their families since 2018. We currently need to pay our gas bills. They live here and receive the necessary care, warmth, attention, and support.
We currently need to pay our gas bills. For our residents, heat and hot water are not a matter of comfort, but a vital necessity.
1. Heating during cold weather. Hypothermia is extremely dangerous for frail patients. Gas heating allows us to maintain a constant, comfortable temperature in the rooms around the clock.
2. Hot water for hygiene and cooking. Daily sanitization, washing bedridden patients, and sterilizing linens and dishes require constantly heated water. Without gas, this is impossible.
