Zakhar now has medication

No treatment helped Zakhar to cope with epilepsy. The family was afraid of bright lights, television, loud sounds, lived in semi-darkness and tried not to cause the child strong emotions. Laughter, crying, the noise of a mixer, the slamming of a door provoked a seizure, which ended in resuscitation and coma. The child's life changed after a consultation with French professor Charlotte Dravet. Zakhar turned out to have a rare type of epilepsy, which the doctor described: it was even named after her - Dravet syndrome. She prescribed the boy the drug Diacomit (Stiripentol), and there were no more seizures. The family began to live, there was light in the rooms, Zakhar went to school and began to dream of becoming a programmer. But every year it becomes more and more difficult to buy medicine for the family. Drugs are not registered in Russia, we have to order and buy them abroad with a reserve of at least a year. And my mom has to take a risk in order to extend the medication for a longer period of time. The drug is indicated in a dosage of 2000 mg, but mom gives 500 mg. On the reduced dosage there are seizures, but not severe, without loss of consciousness, resuscitation and going into a coma. And they end sooner or later anyway - like now. The supply of the drug for a year will cost 179,828 rubles. Help Zakhar to continue treatment as recommended by the doctor, and not to risk his life!
