"I immediately realized that something was wrong with my child. And four hours later, the doctor said: your son has ichthyosis. It felt like a sword had pierced my heart," recalls Sabina, Rashid's mother.
The boy has a rare genetic disease—ichthyosis complicated by Neterton syndrome. His skin is constantly dry, peeling, cracking, and itching. To ease Rashid's condition, his skin requires daily care with special products. The boy also receives medical treatment.
Despite his illness, Rashid goes to school, plays with friends, and enjoys typical childhood activities.
To manage the disease and prevent complications, he needs to undergo regular examinations and treatment at federal clinics. Other children with rare skin diseases are also waiting for such assistance.
We are launching a fundraiser to cover travel expenses to and from Moscow clinics for Rashid and other beneficiaries of the foundation, as well as their accompanying persons.
Help children get to the necessary treatment on time!
