Yusuf has delayed speech development and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, which is why the boy lags behind his peers in his speech and cognitive development.
The defectologist worked to improve orientation in the surrounding world, ideas about the seasons, their sequence, productive imagination and graphic skills. By the end of the course, Yusuf had developed logical thinking, perception of the holistic situation depicted in the picture, and the ability to establish cause-and-effect relationships between the depicted objects and phenomena.
During art therapy and plastinography classes, the specialist developed fine motor skills of Yusuf's fingers and hands, visual coordination and color perception, which contributed to the development of the boy's speech. Through creative work, Yusuf learned to express his emotions and demonstrate a vision of the world around him.
Specialists in physical development worked on the balance of all sensory spheres of the boy, special attention was paid to auditory and visual perception. Yusuf practiced exercises on the balance beam, two-handed ball throwing. As a result, the boy's movements became more balanced, attention improved, and neurodynamics decreased (excessive impulsivity). By the end of the course, Yusuf was happy to do all the tasks and exercises!
