Zurab completed intensive rehabilitation courses and learned new skills!

Zurab has autism. At the age of 3, the boy became silent and lost all skills. Now Zurab still does not speak, academic skills do not correspond to age, there are episodes of undesirable behavior. The behavioral analyst taught Zurab to distinguish motivational items (chips, bubbles, chocolate) by cards when choosing from three and together with a distracting distractor card. The boy also learned how to put together puzzles from 6-8 parts, follow instructions (up to 6). Zurab expanded: imitation skills, began to actively use the pointing gesture, including in everyday life; visual skills – the boy began to compare non-identical cards in a set of 6 suggested. The teacher introduced the PECS alternative communication system (communication using cards) of the 1st level and associations (4 cards). Zurab became more attentive and calm, during classes he cooperated well with all teachers. After training with an adaptive sports instructor, Zurab learned to keep his balance, follow instructions with an object (hoop, ball, cones, rope), climb stairs, jump over barriers and much more.
