Vasilisa Abukova is only 1 year old. Doctors almost immediately diagnosed her with spinal muscular atrophy type 1. Children with this diagnosis do not live up to 2 years. Because of this disease, the girl's arms and legs are very weak. But the girl receives life-saving therapy and she has every chance to live and develop!
To cope with the consequences of the diagnosis, Vasilisa and her mother are actively undergoing rehabilitation courses, however, in addition, she needs special laying pillows.
Due to the fact that the girl's muscles are weak, she lies most of her time. Therefore, there is a high risk of secondary complications. She needs the right positioning, which will allow her to relax her muscles, relieve pain and find a position thanks to which she will be able to play on her own.
The problem can be solved by a special laying pillow, which is necessary
