The Liferoute Foundation's art studio "СТОЛ" (STOL) is a creative space visited by the Foundation's clients, adults with mental disabilities, where they are given the space to explore being together and their own sociality through artistic practices. The name of the workshop can be deciphered as Creating Together for People (Совместное Творчество Объединяющее Людей).
The studio uses a variety of materials and often needs to digitise their art, for using it in the work of the foundation (for the website liferoute.org, newsletters, social media). We therefore need an A3 scanner, as many of our participants do not fit into the confines of an office sheet.
Apart from artistic practice, in the studio we share interesting thoughts with each other and explore the world around us together. We watch films and other media, that’s why we need a projector for showing.
We believe and experience ourselves that a person cannot live in idleness and boredom, nor can they live without their craft. Everyone wants to work and create new things. And a person with a disability should be able to work and create new things.
By supporting our campaign, you will be helping 18 people with mental disabilities to get involved in work and art.
Let's work together to help people with disabilities live fully and independently!
Огромное уважение организаторам таких пространств 🙏🏻
