Laysan is 8 years old. The girl went late, did not understand the addressed speech and did not say anything, did not contact other children, was very withdrawn. Doctors made several diagnoses – delayed speech development, encephalopathy of development in the form of a pronounced delay in speech formation, pseudobulbar syndrome, subclinical epileptiform activity.
At the beginning of the course, the girl had problems with large motor skills, balance, fine motor skills, visual gnosis and processing of tactile stimuli. During the rehabilitation, Laysan's large motrica improved, she became more agile, learned to catch the ball, and her balance improved. The girl became more independent in social and household matters (she began to dress herself).
Throughout the course of classes, work was carried out on a clearer pronunciation of syllables, which will help in the future in the formation of new reactions and increase the amount of vocabulary. Laysan learned to distinguish between her own and other people's things, focusing on possessive pronouns (yours, mine).She began to follow the instructions containing prepositions (in, on, under), sort by categories and functions. The teacher of ava therapy has begun work on composing a word from syllables.
