The LifeRoute Foundation organises inclusive summer camps for our wards every year. As in summer camp, we just have fun on the trips. We swim, cook bread on the fire, study the stars in the sky at night.

A change of scenery, new impressions, including sensory ones, are very important for adults with mental disabilities. Travelling to Valdai is an opportunity for our wards to escape from their usual routine. And for some of them - to go somewhere other than the special facilities at all.

This year we faced a shortage of funds to pay for social workers for the participants of the trip. But thanks to you and your support, we were able to raise the necessary amount and pay for the work of social workers, masterclass facilitator and head of the housekeeper, as well as food for the summer camp!

The Foundation needs support to organize a summer trip for people with mental disabilities

People with mental differences need a regular life - and they really need holidays, vibrant experiences, and, of course, vacations.

Our vacation is a summer inclusive trip where both the foundation's clients, volunteers, and staff participate.

We organize summer inclusive trips every year. Just like in a summer camp, we have a great time during these trips. We swim, bake bread on a campfire, and explore the stars in the night sky.

A change of environment and new experiences, including sensory experiences, are crucial for adults with mental disabilities. Trips to Valday provide an opportunity for our clients to break free from their usual routines. And for some of them, it's a chance to go somewhere other than their daily care facility.

This year, we faced a shortage of funds to cover the costs of support staff for the trip. Social workers are the people who help adults with mental disabilities cope with challenges and learn independence. And most importantly, they are friends!

In order for the trip to take place and be successful, we need to raise 194,000 rubles to cover the expenses of support staff, workshop leaders, a supply manager (an essential colleague in every team), as well as food expenses.
