Miron was born healthy, but when he was six months old, the first rises of temperature up to 39 and convulsions began. After being in the hospital, mom and son received treatment, but did not learn the diagnosis. After discharge, epileptic seizures began to recur every month and lasted for five days. For a whole year Miron lived in such a state. The doctors did not know what was wrong.
At an appointment with an immunologist, the matter was moved - the doctor recommended to do an MRI and take tests. It turned out that Miron had signs of intracranial pressure. Now every three months he and his mother go to a neurologist and other doctors for check-ups. One of them at the next appointment suspected that the boy has Marshall syndrome and said that a genetic analysis is needed.
A more in-depth study - full genome sequencing - is needed and continue further examination of parents using Sanger sequencing.
