The funds for the social worker's salary have been raised!

Recently, Seryozha and Igor moved into our supported living apartment from a closed institution for people with disabilities. The process was very exciting, and adaptation to new conditions has only just begun, but there are things that bring unconditional joy to Igor and Seryozha’s new life. One of those things is grocery shopping. Before going to the store, social workers try to make a shopping list with Seryozha and Igor - without it it is difficult to restrain yourself from buying everything that is there in the store (obviously, this is true not only for Igor and Serezha, but especially for them after living in a closed institution!). Seryozha names the products in his own way: “kla kla” - crab sticks; “klu” - green onions; if Seryozha opens his mouth and gestures with his hand as if he’s spraying air freshener into it, that’s chewing gum. The social workers have not yet managed to remember the conventional names of the remaining products, but there is no hurry: Igor understands Seryozha without words, and will always explain what Seryozha meant. We are now raising funds for the salaries of social workers - basically, personal assistants for people who cannot yet live alone. The heroes our story need such help almost constantly - that is, social workers help them every day.
