Help pay for the work of social worker for the supported living project for people from PNI

Hello friends! Our project “Otradnoe” is a program of assisted living for people with experience of living in psychiatric institutions. In this program social workers (“companions”) help clients to live a full life: to choose where and when to go, what to spend money on, to solve everyday problems independently, to learn new skills and enjoy every day. There are now 20 people in the program and a huge waiting list. Accompanied living programs are the only alternative to life in closed institutions. Living in an institution often deprives people of personal freedom and the right to choose, and our program aims to give our clients this right back.

Companions are specialists who live in apartments with clients in shifts, help them with all domestic and social issues, ensure their safety and share their experience.
