Muhammadali has completed an intensive rehabilitation course!

Muhammadali is 7 years old, he has an autism spectrum disorder with cognitive impairments and impaired expressive speech. After 1.5 years, the boy stopped looking into the eyes, playing games, clapping his hands and talking. During intensive classes, the boy learned to cooperate with the teacher, calmly part with the motivational subject, and there is a positive dynamic in the development of memory and thinking. The teacher worked on visual perception, motor imitation, and an alternative communication system using PECS cards. There was also active work on the development of Muhammadali's speech skills, now he can compose more complex phrases and sentences, pronounce words and their endings clearly, the boy has learned many new words. The teachers selected a number of exercises for Muhammadali to improve vestibular perception and body awareness. By the end of this course, the boy had mastered the skills of attention retention while performing tasks and games. Impulsivity decreased and planning of actions appeared, the child began to control his body better, and also became more resilient, and his movements became more coordinated. As part of the rehabilitation, Muhammadali underwent a course of hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which gave a positive dynamic in both intellectual development and behavior of the boy, parents and experts note that the child has become more calm, attentive and persevering.
