Sasha turned 3 years old. After a year, he lost his speech, and his parents began to notice that the boy was lagging behind his peers. Experts have identified a delay in speech development.
At the beginning of rehabilitation, Sasha did not interact with the teacher, did not look into the eyes and did not respond to the name. During the intensive classes, the boy learned to cooperate with the teacher, calmly part with the motivational subject, and began to turn to his name. The teacher worked on visual perception, motor imitation, and an alternative communication system using PECS cards.
At the beginning of rehabilitation, a specialist conducted a test, according to the results of which a training program was compiled for Sasha. The child learned to jump with a hint. Balance exercises alternated with exercises with a ball and rings, and later these exercises were combined. Sasha learned to stand on a treadmill without the support of a trainer, to stand confidently on a balancing cushion, with the help of croup and sand, the tactile system of the boy was saturated. Small toys and a ball were used to work on visual-motor coordination.
