Timur has completed an intensive rehabilitation course!

Timur is 4 years old. By the age of two, the boy did not look into his eyes, did not respond to his name, and had no speech at all. After contacting specialists, several diagnoses were made: delayed speech development, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, expressive speech disorder, general speech underdevelopment of level 1.

First of all, the boy contacted a behavioral analyst, and his cooperation with the teacher improved, who conducted a special motivational stimulus test for Timur. These steps made it possible to introduce the first and second stages of the PECS alternative communication system for the child. The boy learned to sit at the study table for a long time while performing tasks, compare identical objects, and simulate simple actions with a subject to the level of independent imitation.

Timur's understanding of reversed speech improved, onomatopoeia appeared, and the number of undesirable behaviors decreased. Thanks to special exercises and tasks using cereals, small objects, and balls, the boy's large and fine motor skills improved. Timur has become more attentive and responsive to the requests and assignments of specialists.
