Abubakar has completed an intensive course in Astrakhan!

Abubakar has a disorder of psychological development with a disorder of expressive speech. At the age of 3, the boy did not speak, did not respond to the name and had no eye contact.

The PECS alternative communication system was introduced to the boy, thanks to which he can express his desires and needs. The child became more cooperative, and undesirable behavior in the form of aggression decreased. We also worked on motor simulation and visual skills. Abubakar learned to follow simple instructions with and without objects on his own, learned to sort objects, and distinguish between primary colors.

Work has begun on developing self-service skills, the ability to drink from a cup and hold a spoon on their own. The boy also improved his understanding of speech, he learned to sit quietly in class, and perform teacher assignments. Abubakar got onomatopoeia, which is an important step towards speech formation!
