Samira is 7 years old, she has a disorder of psychological development, a general underdevelopment of speech of the 1st level with a disorder of behavior and emotions, congenital malformations of the brain. At one year and 2 months old, the baby had pneumonia, after which there was a setback in development, she stopped talking, became withdrawn.
Thanks to the rehabilitation courses, Samira's understanding of spoken language has improved significantly, and there is significant progress in developing self-service skills! The behavioral analyst initially conducted a special test, which resulted in a program for the girl. Work was underway to establish leadership control, thanks to which Samira began to listen and perform the tasks of the teacher, she significantly reduced the number of episodes of undesirable behavior.
The specialist introduced the PECS alternative communication system to the girl (communication through flashcards), now the baby can show others what she needs at the moment, and it has become easier for parents and teachers to understand her. Samira learned to perform motor movements and simple instructions on her own, and the girl's large and small motor skills improved significantly. The specialists also worked with the girl to develop the basic necessary self-service skills. There are improvements in Samira's speech skills, phrasal speech and constructions with prepositions were studied, the girl began to pronounce individual words clearly.
