Beit Al Khair Society

Beit Al Khair Society (“House of Goodness”) is one of the oldest and largest charities in the UAE. Founded in Dubai in 1989 by a group of Emirati businessmen and incorporated under Ministerial Decree No. 41 of 1989, it operates under the supervision of Dubai’s Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD).

The Society helps those in need across the UAE: low-income families, widows, orphans, the sick, debtors, people of determination and students.

Every beneficiary passes a social assessment — the Society’s motto is “Donations are directed to the most vulnerable people.”

Since its founding, the Society has spent over AED 3.1 billion on aid. More than 56,000 registered families and cases receive its support yearly; in 2025 alone it provided AED 113 million in aid.

Branches operate in Dubai, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Hatta. Beit Al Khair has won the “Best Charity Performance in the Arab World” award and publishes its financial reports transparently.
