Ecology: Environmental Charities

We remember the places of our childhood: the river where we fished, the woods behind the house, the lake the whole family drove to. We want our children to see them the same way, not buried in litter. The charities gathered here protect nature: they clean up the shores of lakes and rivers, forests, parks and mountains, remove and recycle waste, set up containers for separate collection and teach people to sort their rubbish.

They plant trees and restore forests after fires, protect nature reserves, rare animals and plants, and show children and adults how to live without leaving a mark. All of this takes equipment, bags, seedlings, trucks to haul waste away and expeditions to remote places.

Behind every charity on Tooba are checked documents, finances and spending reports. And the result of this work is something you can see with your own eyes: a clean shore, a young forest, a lake you can wade into again.
