In early July, Tooba held its now-traditional charity campaign “Family Is...”, timed to coincide with the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity.
Together with six foundations, the platform joined forces on campaigns supporting orphaned children and families in difficult circumstances. Users could help pay for therapeutic nutrition, treatment and rehabilitation for children, as well as for the work of the social case workers who support families in crisis.
The foundations that joined the campaign were Doroga Zhizni, Deti Nashi, Find Family, Ty Emu Nuzhen, Spina Bifida and KDL. The children they support live in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar Krai, the North Caucasus and many other regions of Russia.
Another good moment was a boat trip along the rivers and canals of St. Petersburg. Tooba organized it for the families supported by the Pomoshch foundation: families with elderly relatives and children with cancer.
Family is not only about blood ties. It is care, support and the readiness to be there when times are especially hard. Thank you to everyone who joined the campaign and helped families feel they are not alone.
